This is the evergreen connection cable from 3.5mm to 3.5mm. Solid long grain copper (LGC) conductors eliminate strand interaction distortion. Evergreen's solid long grain copper allows for a smoother and clearer sound than cables with normal OFHC (oxygen high conductivity) copper. LGC has fewer oxides in the conductive material, less impurities, less grain boundaries, and definitely better performance. Any solid material next to a conductor is actually part of an imperfect circuit. Evergreen uses air-filled polyethylene insulation on both conductors as air absorbs virtually no energy and polyethylene is low loss and has a benign distortion profile. The metal layer noise dissipation system (NDS) prevents recorded RF interference from modulating the ground reference of the device. It prevents a significant amount of RFI from reaching the bottom of the equipment. Specially designed for single-sided applications. The asymmetrical double-balanced geometry provides a relatively lower impedance on the ground for a richer and more dynamic experience. This is a cold welded gold plated RCA connector. This plug design allows for connection without soldering, which is a common source of distortion.
