Jack Rogers Women's Georgica Thong Sandal - Comfortable Summer Flip Flops for Beach, Pool & Casual Outfits

I ordered these in a size 8, which is what I wear in all of my Jack Rogers sandals. I have two of the navajo styles, and 2 georgica jellies all in 8s. These were too small--in both length and width. I returned them and ordered a size up to 8.5, and they fit perfectly. I know the leather gives a little, but after 2 weeks of wearing a few times, this is still a better size. The return was quick, and I got my money back in a few days.I read the reviews that these aren't really jack rogers, because it says they're made in the dominican republic. It does say made in the Dominican Republic, but they definitely don't seem like knock offs. I've bought knock offs of other types before, and this quality is just like my other jack rogers.Like other Jack Rogers I've worn and seen on others, they vary pair to pair. I tried on a size 7 and 8 in store and decided to order 7.5 online. They all fit width-wise, but were just a little short in the length, so I decided to return and get 8s. Then I could barely get my foot into them they were so narrow and the strap so tight. Glad I had a week to wear them before an event to break them in.Love the design though, it's a good alternative to the classic Navajo. I would say I don't have as much traction with these soles compared to the Navajo, but the strap is tight enough to keep my feet in. Like every pair of Jack Rogers I have, it will just take some time to break them in. I still love them!Very disappointed with this product as well as Amazon. I placed my order on 7/11/2016 and had delivery set for 7/18/2016-7/21/2016. On 7/14/2016 it went to the preparing to ship status and se there for days. I contacted Amazon on 7/18/2016 and asked when they shoes would ship and was told everything was fine, do not worry, you will have your order delivered by the 21st. On 7/19/2016 it was still in the preparing to ship status so I again asked about it. I was then told that they had found an issue with my item and set the order to ship that day and I would be receiving it by 800pm on 7/20/2016. I asked what the issue had been and they said that the seller did not have my size and they found my size shoe with another vender. I asked at that time if I was going to be getting authentic Jack Rogers or Knock offs and was assured the item being delivered would be true Jack Rogers. Well, the package was delivered in the afternoon on 7/20/2016. When I opened the box I was so excited to have my new shoes. Until I opened them. These shoes are as fake as they come. The cork is not real, they are made out of paper and on the inside it is clearly stamped made in Dominican Republic. They shoes will be returned and I will no longer be ordering off of Amazon. This is the 3rd order that I have paid for that comes as a knock off. I would clearly understand if I was paying low price for the item but these knock off shoes were $98.00 and I just found the real Jack Rogers in a local store in my home town for $1.00 more at $99.00.I love Jack Rogers! I haven't had this brand in a while and I don't remember my last pair being this stiff and requiring such a break in period. They will eventually be great, they just need some work to become pliable and more comfortable. The length of the shoe is good for the size, but I find it tight across the top of my feet. This should go away once they are broken in. I was hesitant to go up a size because my last pair stretched to the point that they would occasionally fly off my feet as I walked and I didn't want that to happen again.Let's start out with I was super excited to get this shoe. It matches the color well but When I opened it I noticed that the soles of the shoes already had crack marks in it. Which honestly I hope does not lead to the shoe breaking. Also, I have very narrow feet and these shoes are very tight on the sides for me so be careful and order a size up. With knowing its tight on the sides I know I can't get to crazy running around in these shoes.Ordered 2 pair for 2 different kids. Both seemed small but a pain to send back so we're keeping. We went to the mall in hopes they'd have them and we can get a 1/2 or size larger but the lady at the store had no patience with us as she knew we weren't buying anything so she said she'd be right back, walked around the store and upon return said you're still here? We were surprised with that and said thank you and have a nice day.. Left the store and decided to keep the small shoes. Ug... Diane Traynor :)I gave four stars for these sandals because they are really cute. My foot is narrow and many sandals are too wide for me but I have several pairs of Jack Rogers sandals in another style so I was in hopes that these would work for me even if I had to put a pad in the bottom under the ball of my foot but these were simply too big.I really did. I tried both the 8.5 and the 8. The size 8 fit nice and snug, but was a little to small in the back. the 8.5 were too loose, length was perfect but i just felt like each time i walked, they would go flying off. And they are very stiff. Some reviewers said to give it time, but i was beyond that. They were too stiff to walk in ( walked on carpet), felt like i was walking on straight hardwood, no arch support at all. Also they are way to slippery for my taste. However, they are very cute shoes style wise. I thought the price was too high for the product, although i know Jack Rogers makes great shoes, these just did not make the cut. It was a hard decision though because i kept them around for at least two weeks, trying them on every few days trying to convince myself that the pro's out weigh the cons...the only pro was the cuteness and i'm shocked that that wasnt enough, it usually is! I supposed if you gave them a chance, it might work for you. But if you have narrow or dainty feet and no patience, it will not.Me encantan esta sandalias. Al comienzo me salió una ampolla en la parte superior derecha del pie derecho pero una vez que sanó, perfecto.usually a size 9 and ordered a 10 in this but it's still too small. very narrow as well.Medallion not centered on foot. Looks odd.Absolutely gorgeous and comfy. Size as expected
