Long time Jacks lover, and these are great. I sized up half a size, which I typically do with Jacks (everything except jellies). My pinky toes do sit a little odd on the edge of the shoe, it doesn't look strange it just feels a little different. I wore them while cooking dinner and the leather is starting to stretch to fit my high arch. They are not as comfortable as birks, I didn't expect them to be. They are as comfortable out of the box as my really broken-in jacks from a decade ago. I am very happy with them. Not my shoes for Disney World but perfect for functions where I need dressy sandals and want to be comfortable.
