These are super cute and immediately comfortable. Very high quality women’s loafers.Love these shoes! I travel for work and wanted to find a cute and durable flat. These shoes are exactly what I was looking for and are made with high quality. They are a more modern take on the classic penny loafer. When I wear these for work I am usually in them for about 14-16 hours. By the end of the day my feet are a little sore but I feel that they are no more sore than they would with any other of my comfy shoes. The leather is a little stiff, but with time will break in enough. These shoes go with almost everything I wear. You will need to scuff up the bottom of the shoe or get adhesive grip pads to put on the soles- they can be quite slippery on smooth flooring. Other than that, these shoes are perfect! These are the best loafers! Not as bulky as traditional (Bass) penny loafers, they're a streamlined version of classic. They have a slightly tapered heel (compare side-by-side to Bass), slimmer width, (running to narrow), giving them a slightly more petite silhouette. Very comfy after a brief break in period as with most leather loafers. I am a size 8-1/2 M on 90% of all shoes, with the exception of boots which I wear with socks. Since I wear these loafers without socks, I put in a charcoal liner* which makes them more snug. The liners can be replaced from time to time without much effort except to cut them to fit (*Wetness and Odor Absorbing Activated Charcoal Shoe Insoles by Emerge Therapeutics, I highly recommended for ALL shoes worn barefoot). If you wear them with socks, get 1/2 size up.I'm buying a black pair for a fall trip to New York & Connecticut), so will buy size 9, and depending on my budget may also get the lighter brown. If funds were unlimited, I would buy them all!(posted by Toni via Doug). These shoes definitely run smaller, should have followed the advice of some of the previous reviews. I ordered a pair of size 8.5. The shoes were shorter in length than your typical size 8.5.11/29/17 Update: Ordered the size 9, sizing still inconsistent. Had Amazon ship another pair, stayed with the size 9. So, three pairs ordered in total in an effort to find the right fit. is last pair size 9 arrived, perfect fit and comfortable right out of the box. Fits like an 8.5...Unlike a brand like Todd's or Born loafers (I have both), those brands sizing is normal and consistent. However, I still think these are good shoes, are well made and I'm glad I made the purchase.Nothing beats Jack Rogers loafers...they are a little more feminine than the usual GHBass variety, super comfortable and the highest quality. Audrey would be proud of you. Wear them with some skinny black capris and a cute cashmere turtleneck...oh my goodness. Or tights with a plaid skirt and a sweater set... too cute.I bought a half size larger which I might regret once they are broken in, but intend to wear them with some sort of socks. If you are in the market for loafers - get these. Also check out Jack Rogers sandals, Jackie Kennedy bought them in the 60s. They are still as gorgeous and trend setting as when she wore themHaving owned this shoe in a different color, I disregarded the advice to order a size larger. I ordered the same size as I had previously and find that this shoe is indeed shorter than my current favorite pair. I did keep the shoe as I know that they will stretch with wear over time and the quality is exceptional. The shoes were very attractive and appeared to very well constructed; however, once again upon first fitting they were uncomfortable when walking and rather than take a chance they would fit better at some time in the future, it was decided to return them.I'm a size 8 B and I ordered the penny loafers in Dark Brown. I wore the shoes to work and they hurt my feet. The length is fine but the width seems to be at bit narrow, at least for me. I'm hoping that they'll stretch. Otherwise, cute shoes. I got several compliments on them.
