At present, there are some incorrect descriptions of RV covers on the market. We hope that our experience can help you avoid unscrupulous businesses. 1. Misleading Descriptions Non-woven fabric lacks distinct anti-UV and waterproof (PU coating) layers. Oxford fabric lacks a distinct anti-UV layer. These functionalities result from integrating specific components into the fibers and should not be portrayed as independent functional layers. 2. Exaggerated Descriptions Exaggerating layer count with 3D modeling is a tactic in 'description competition'. Some sellers rely on customers not dismantling the cover for layer verification. The true count is only evident in real photographs.Exaggerating non-woven fabric's performance. Due to the absence of a waterproof layer (PU coating) and its natural porous, breathable characteristics, it's hard to reach a 1000mm waterproof rating. And non-woven fabric has significantly lower tension compared to Oxford fabric, usually lower than 100lb.Exaggerating Oxford cloth specifications, such as 500D/600D/800D/900D/1200D, is often a tactic in 'description competition'. Due to cost constraints, manufactures usually don't produce covers made of these specifications. Buyers struggle to discern differences in various Oxford fabric specifications. 3. Amateurish Descriptions D (Denier) refers to fiber thickness (weight per 9,000m of fiber). Non-woven fabric does not use the denier concept as its fibers vary in thickness, length, and are arranged in a disorderly manner. 4. Oxford Facric or Non-woven Fabric? Oxford fabric surpasses non-woven fabric in waterproofing, tear resistance, although it has lower breathability compared to non-woven fabric (breathability and waterproofing are mutually exclusive). Both are close in their ability to block UV rays, usually only differing by 5% or less.Non-woven fabrics are more susceptible to aging and weathering. So Oxford fabric generally has a longer lifespan. In general, Oxford fabric comes at a higher cost than non-woven fabric. 5. How to distinguish between non-woven fabric and Oxford fabric? Judge from the pictures. The surface of Oxford fabric is fine and smooth, while non-woven fabric has a rough surface and often comes with pores. 6. An Effective Metric Grammage (g/m²). For the same type of fabric, a higher grammage indicates a thicker material, usually associated with better quality. However, this metric is not suitable for comparing Oxford fabric and non-woven fabric. Non-woven fabric generally has a higher grammage than Oxford fabric, but its performance is the opposite as mentioned in the previous points. PREMIUM FABRIC By altering the composition and structure, we've enhanced the strength and tear resistance of this new fabric, surpassing ordinary non-woven fabrics and significantly extending the lifespan of the cover. Simultaneously, with the addition of a water repellent to the fibers, we strike a balance between breathability and waterproofness, achieving waterproofing comparable to Oxford cloth but surpassing it in breathability.
WIND & SUN PROOF Compared to bottom-fixed straps, the five straps fixed in the middle of the sides ensure a closer fit to the trailer. The elastic hem, adjustable straps on the front and rear panels, and two included lashing straps help further secure the cover against blowing away and tearing in heavy wind. Additionally, our fabric is fortified with an anti-UV component to minimize aging and degradation from sunlight.
ENTERABLE Four rollable panels on both sides allow access to the trailer anytime, making it easy to view and check the interior situation. Four reflective strips in the front and rear enhance safety and avoid collisions during the night.
