Bought as a collector item. My son loves it.Very heavy sturdy craftsmanship. He has never opened the lid. So it's in unused condition. 110% satisfied.Ive always wanted a zippo lighter so of course as soon as I got my first job I bought one. Anyone who is reading this tho and hasnt ever owned a zippo or bought one just know this one doesnt come with fluid in it. When you put fluid in it, it will leak in your pocket so wear jeans. Also extra flint is in the bottom. Besides that tho I love this thing, thank youI've had a fair share of zippos, and this has got to be my favorite one. The design and craftsmanship is A+Good looking lighter, for the bar.Let me start by saying that I have a few Zippos and have gone through quite a few. Zippo is known for it's reliability, and toughness. Also comes with a lifetime warranty. Just like any Zippo it works, works and then works some more, without exceptions. There are no if's or maybes when it comes to Zippo lighters. I like them for their durability, reliability and being able to light and retain a light in a surprisingly windy weather. And naturally also liking Jack's I bought it and it looks great. One thin to consider before buying it.Before you go ahead and buy it, just be warned that those plates on the front with the deep engraving are glued to the actual lighter and do add some weight (no they won't eventually fall off.) For those of you who have owned different types of Zippos and are used to the regular Zippo weight this might add some, not much but it's noticeable with you hold Jack's in one hand and a regular Zippo in the other.Operation:To use first it must be fueled (Zippo lighter fluid recommended, others tend to be dirtier and burn with more fumes and lower temperature flame.) To fuel it, open the cap, and pull the insert lighter out of the shell. Lift up the tab (that says "lift up" on it, of course) then Pour Zippo lighter fluid in the lighter until reasonably moist (you will have to get used to the amount needed.) After fueling reinsert back into the shell, strike, and you have a lit lighter. (Just as a side note, lifting the tab is really not required. You can just pour Lighter fluid through the whole in it. It works just as fine, but the reason it is lifted is that it is easier to see when it's full before it starts dripping through the wick.To replace the flint is pretty easy. Remove the insert from the case and unscrew the screw on the very bottom. If there is a small amount of flint left, remove it and add a new one. Put back the screw tightly and reassemble. To make sure you never run out and aren't able to use you're lighter just carry one under the tab that is typically lifted for fueling. After a while you may need to pull your wick, and eventually even replace it, but I'm sure you can find out how to do that on youtube. It arrived packeged very nice in a gift box. This Zippo looks badass with the Jack Daniels on it. The Jack Daniel's label looks and feels to be made of some kind of rubber, definitely hard to describe but it seems like it would be pretty durable. The case itself is not a mirror finish like some people were thinking it would be. It's more of a worn look , I think it is looks cool ,and adds it's to the character of the lighter. I installed a double torch butane insert and it totally kicks ass. If you are a Jack Daniels fan definitely get this one ***update 2-25-21. After 6 months of daily use, the Jack Daniels logo started to flake off bad. It really looked like crap, so i scraped the rest off with my fingernail. Dont buy this if you are going to use it everyday, just buy a regular street chrome zippo, unless you are going to just display it. Lighter works great but kinda bummed.Wonderful lighter and fast shipping. Lighter looks much better in person than in the pictures.Great Lighter! I've had many Zippo lighters that were different design and etc and I do have to say this is the best one. yet!Once upon a time, I used to own a 'Zippo' lighter. Reliable, providing you had flints and petrol. I lost it many, many years ago. I don't know why I scoured available models at that time but I did; perhaps I was fed up with 'disposable gas lighters'.I once had a keyring bought for me (actually his assistant bought it for me), which came attached to a bottle of 'Jack Daniels'. I have kept that keyring as a 'keepsake' for over thirty years and still it holds my house keys. The 'Zippo' lighter was the perfect mate.So long as you keep it fed with wicks and flints and fuel, it will last forever.Just a typical zippo. Good quality, lights well, if you've never used a zippo before this is a good start. Cheap and cheerful, works great. I swear by my zippo lighters, I own a few. These are great. Well worth buying. (if you've never used a zippo make sure you buy lighter fluid...doesn't have to be official zippo lighter fluid. Amazon do a set for just under £6 with 125ml fuel, flints & 1 spare wick. Worth buying with it)Great lighter and well polished and packaged. Uaed theae lighters for years and would recommend these to anybody looking for a lighter that never lets you down or breaks . Better than the cheap gas lighters . . But if your buying a petrol lighter make sure its a genuine ZIPPO and not a cheap nock offI bought this to replace one I lost in a motorcycle accident, I only ever use zippo lighters they are great lightersThis is a good quality Zippo lighter and much to my surprise I noticed the petrol taste has even disappeared (compared to a much older zippo lighter my OH has). He's a Jack Daniels fan too so this just had to be purchased as a present! The markings are distinctive and clear and make this lighter stand out from a plain Zippo. The flame is wind resistant and strong in all weathers.Very happy with the purchase, would highly recommend. Purchased it at a good price too.
